The source talks about different types of eating disorders while giving statistics. The authors are part of the Natioanl Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders. It is a non-profit organization. The statistics portion is the part that interests me. In anargument, I would use the research of statistics of how eating disorders affect people, especially high school and college aged women.
Bartlett, Myke. “Sex Sells: Child Sexualization and the Media.” Screen Education 51. (2008): 106-112. EBSCOhost. Web. 14 Feb 2013. The source talks about how children are sexualized in the media. He gives examples from movies and advertisments. Myke Bartlett is a journalist, writer, and podcaster. The way sex sells in advertising interests me. I also like how he talks about Little Miss Sunshine, a movie most Americans have seen. I would use examples from Little Miss Sunshine in an argument because most everyone has seen it.

The source talks about how advertising uses sex to sell which is degrading to women. D’Enbeau is from the University of Kansa. Lawrence. The ads that show women traditionally in the home or as servants to men interest me. They are seen as sex objects. I would use the information about how sexuality in ads of women have increased while men have stayed about the same.

The source talks about however uncommon, when sex is used to sell, it is aimed towards the male audience. The authors are from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. How much sex is used to sell products in magazines interests me. I would use statistics to show how many sexual ads are degrading to women.

The portion that interests me is that males recall sexual ads better while females recall non-sexual ads better. I would use research information about how surrounding certain shows with sexual ads either hinder or help with recall of ad information.
